At Brethren Retirement Community we have over 200 generous and dedicated volunteers who provide the extra hands needed to provide excellent care and services to our residents.
How To Volunteer...
Our volunteers are made up of residents, staff, family members, and community members who enjoy giving help to those who need it.

If you are interested in volunteering at Brethren Retirement Community, we have many options which include:

  • Helping with meal times
  • Folding Laundry
  • Reading to residents
  • Grounds care
  • Driving to outings and special events
  • Serving refreshments at programs and parties
  • Writing letters
  • Leading Bible study
  • Teaching Sunday School
  • Playing Piano or other instrument
  • Gardening
  • Working in the Gift Shop, or This-N-That shop
  • Working at the reception desk or in the Library
  • Working in the craft room or doing a craft demonstration
  • Assisting Activities with outings and programs
